Veyron’s New Enemy

The Barabus TKR

Many of you thought that the Shelby Super Car Ultimate Aero is the fastest car. Well, me too. But now, another car comes its way. The Barabus TKR is the SSC Ultimate Aero and the Bugatti Veyron’s newest competitor for the fastest car award.

The TKR’s amazing 6.0 L V8 Twin-Turbocharged engine could do 0-60 mph in under 2 seconds. 1.67 to be exact. It’s top speed is 270 mph while the SSC Ultimate Aero TT can only do 257 mph. Clearly, the Ultimate Aero TT lost. The supercar generates 1005 bhp at 6500 rpm with the red line at 7500 rpm.

The Barabus TKR’s body and chassis would be full Carbon Fibre which makes it weigh less and run faster. The suspension is fully independent unequal length “A” arms.

Technology is also used in this supercar. I’m talking about the following:

- Barabus Electromech control system computer handles engine management

- The ignition system is integrated coil-on-plug

- A longitudinally mounted transaxle, with unique Barabus bell housing, transfers power to the wheels

Barabus did not release further details of the car so we only have limited information about it. Anyways, thanks for reading

The Evo’s New Brother

The Mitsubishi RA Concept

The Mitsubishi Ra Concept is Mitsubishi’s interpretation of a sport coupe. This Mitsubishi is said to be front-engine, rear wheel drive that is slightly heightened than the Evo 10.

The RA Concept displays some sexy curves to show how magnificent the car is. It has 21-inch rims that provides nice grip for the car. It’s look gave Mitsubishi a new design identity. With this new design and red color, I could say that it looks more like Ferrari. The Cockpit is also different than its older brother, the evo. It has minimal visual instrumentation and has a greater look in its control layout. Providing a better mental concentration.

The RA Concept’s All-Wheel Drive Control provides better grip than the Lancer Evolution 10. Its S-AWC system manages the ACD1, AYC2, ASC3, and Sport ABS components to give an improvement to its traction control, vehicle stability, and cornering stability.

The Mitsubishi Concept-RA has a 2.2 Liter engine 4-cylinder DOHC 16-valve turbo diesel engine. This diesel engine provides a 201 bhp and a maximum torque of 310 ft. lbs.

To make this car a more fuel efficient one and to have a better performance, Mitsubishi made it a little bit lighter by using an aluminum space frame made from extruded aluminum sections and die-cast aluminum components throughout its body.

iPhone 3G: A Necessity or Just a Luxury?

Are you ready for the next generation iPhone?

The newest collection of Apple will now be available on July 11. Apple says that it is twice as fast as the older iPhone. It has all the capabilities of a smartphone. This iPhone has Push E-mail with HTML format means email looks and acts like email on your computer. It supports Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, PDF, JPEG, and iWork that is being supported by Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync. It also has GPS-powered Maps. Enabling you to locate someone in a short span of time. The iPhone 3G uses Safari Browser with support for web standards, SSL, and Cisco IPSec VPN. So the fastest available connection to the web is always ensured, whether it’s EDGE, 3G, or Wi-Fi. Another new feature of the iPhone 3G is App Store which allows you to download applications in every category like a game from Apple. The App Store works over cellular networks and WiFi. The iPhone really is an amazing smartphone.

Do you really need it?

If your a businessman then why not? But do you really need it? Is it worth dying for? I may be astounded by the iPhone but I myself know I don’t need it. It’s just a luxury you can’t resist. Think about it. It’s just a smartphone made by Apple. It’s touchscreen-so what? It may be good but if you’re just a freshman in highschool like me, then why would you need one? Especially when you’re living in Canada. Rogers offered $60 a month in a 3 year contract which hinders you to use some important features of the iPhone. That’s why I am not wishing for one. I would just buy an iPod and a smartphone like a Palm Treo or a Blackberry Curve. iPhone 3G maybe good for $199 but think about something you could buy with that amount. Even paying $60 per month for 3 years. I’m just suggesting you to think about it before buying one. You could waste your money if you made a wrong decision.
